About:	I am a senior-level Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years experience in designing & leading teams designing HVAC systems for occupied buildings (hospitals, schools, jails, & office buildings). I am very experienced with computer modeling of building energy systems. I have recent experience in designing UFAD systems & Central Energy Plants, (new, renovations, and expansions). I am very computer literate, experienced with Word & Excel as well as many engineering software. All my past projects have used AutoCAD and several were coordinated with REVIT. I am a PE in NC, SC, VA, and GA (also in several states: lapsed & quickly reinstatable) and am a LEED AP (Accredited Professional). POSITION I AM LOOKING FOR: Senior HVAC Design Engineer or ME dept head for a MEP or A/E firm. In addition to continuing doing advanced-level engineering, I enjoy mentoring engineers & designers. RELOCATION: I love living in the southeast, so I strongly prefer relocation only to cities in NC, SC, FL, & VA. I'm single, in an apartment, so I'm exceptionally flexible about relocation. Recruiters: Please recognize that my experiences are all in the design of HVAC systems, and are otherwise limited in: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING or SALES ENGINEER: I feel quite qualified and comfortable supporting marketing & sales staff, but don't want a position where my success is judged by getting new work. PROJECT MANAGER: I have always worked for design firms. I am skilled at managing design projects but don't wish a full time PM job to the exclusion of engineering. FACILITIES or OPERATIONS. I work closely with the owners and users in designing new & renovation projects but I have no experience with Fac or Ops directly. INDUSTRIAL or MANUFACTURING: Likewise, I have little experience in the industrial or pharm/bio/clean-room/manufacturing design).
