Per SMACNA the galvanize sheet gauge for 1000 mm (1 meter) unreinforced round duct for:

  • 500 pa positive static pressure would be gauge 0.85 for spiral seam and 1.00 for long seam.
  • 1000-2500 pa positive static pressure would be gauge 1.00 for spiral seam and long seam.
