Where should the expansion tank be connected to the hydronic system?

The location of the Expansion Tank must be as close as possible to the Circulating Pump, because the Expansion tank creates the point of no pressure change within the system; the pump’s suction side must be connected to the point of no pressure change, on the other hand the expansion tank should be connected to the suction side of the pump..
