this is tedious process to make this now rvt 2016 gives you fabrication parts support. you can easily copy paste the diff support from fabrication parts to normal ductwork system..

For Revit 2016 you dont need to draw family.

You can download fabrication parts  setting from revit help. you can easily get fabrication support there.
