The condenser in this system is water cooled. This package unit is either a rooftop or indoor unit. Condenser water to heat pump is provided by closed circuit cooling tower and condenser water pump.
The temperature of the condenser water in hot seasons should be usually 85℉ supply and 95℉ return. In cold seasons, the condenser water temperature should be above 60℉. In order to maintain the temperature of water above 60℉, a boiler should be installed in condenser water loop system. If the condenser water temperature falls below 60℉, the boiler would reheat the water until the temperature reaches 70℉.
